    I actually think that a panning effect – such as Ken Burns – could’ve
    worked quite well with a project that is supposed to depict movement,
    exactly what your cross country running one does.

    @capdasejb I am wanting the same thing. From what I’ve found so far, you
    need Final Cut Express (a fancier Mac program) to do that. Let me know if
    you found a solution.

    go on to google images or any source which you want your pictures into the
    imovie, drag them into your finder homescreen, and then drag that into your
    imovie
